A menswear brand by Emily Adams Bode, a female designer based in Manhattan, NY. BODE tailors a wide variety of old-fashioned and unique textiles into classic and eye-catching workwear silhouettes. Emily, who has degrees in philosophy and menswear design, became the first female menswear designer to present a collection at New York Fashion Week for men less than a year after founding the brand in 2016. During her time at university, she began searching for rare historic fabrics from around the world, honing her processing techniques and eventually working on re-tailoring.
