Gimaguas was founded in Spain in 2016 by twin sisters Claudia and Sayana Dulaney, who are originally from Barcelona, Spain. The brand name "gimaguas" means "twins" in Cuba. They source materials from areas with good climates such as Mexico, Jaipur, and Madagascar, and create clothes with artisans from around the world. This diversity is the inspiration for their creations, and they have produced a diverse collection of form-fitting knitwear, flowing dresses, and patterned swimwear.
