Melbourne-based label Maroske Peech is a collaboration between creative duo Jordan Conder and Elisa Keeler, whose ballet-inspired collection began as an after-hours project in their free time at the studio they shared with their studio friends. What began as a studio project quickly grew into a brand known for its flattering silhouettes and performance-first designs. High-cut bodysuits, layerable camisoles, blouses, leggings and dresses are produced in small batches from solid colours and hand-dyed stretchy fabrics sourced from local dead stock. Details like stitching, straps and shirring add depth and lyrical atmosphere to designs that are reminiscent of the world of dance. Maroske Peech's experimental and genderless pieces invite the wearer to have fun shaping their own stage.
