Stefan Cooke, a graduate of Central Saint Martins, and his partner Jake Burt create unique pieces that reinterpret ordinary objects through an avant-garde lens. Their unconventional perspective has led to the creation of unusual pieces such as T-shirts made from countless buttons and vintage bags wrapped in futuristic Perspex covers. Their use of texture to bring together feminine motifs in an androgynous mood has led to them being selected as finalists for the 2019 LVMH Prize, where mundane details are transformed into extraordinary pieces.
